WHAT IS A BACKFLOW TESTING?
A backflow device is set in place to protect the water supply. It allows the water to flow in one direction and will not allow water to flow back through the device from backflow or siphonage. With a backflow test, we use a differential gage to move the water through the device to make sure the spring tensions and the rubber seals are tight. Making sure the water is safe for usage and drinking. Wolff Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing are certified to test the backflow in New Mexico, which requires that backflow devices be tested yearly.
